Summer Beginnings
Monday marked my first day as a software engineer intern at The Resumator. The past week marked the beginnings of what I know is going to be an incredible summer. In only five days, I have learned a lot and already saw my code being pushed into production. I feel privileged to be working with such a talented group of people, and I can honestly say that I look forward to work.

A Day for Mothers
There are a lot of holidays out there that have lost their original focus. Take Halloween, for example. The holiday is typically traced back to Gaelic harvest festival Samhain and Christian All Saint’s Day. However, over the years, rituals remembering the dead and services honoring the saints have turned into an expensive sugar fest. Then there is Thanksgiving which is tainted by its subsequent counterpart. In fact, stores don’t even wait until Thanksgiving is over anymore to start their Black Friday deals.
